Museum of Aviation

It is hard to make a Warner Robins list without starting with the Museum of Aviation. Located next to Robins Air Force Base, the museum has aircraft and exhibits spread throughout several buildings, so there is plenty to see even if you have visited before. General admission and parking are free, which makes this one of the easiest local outings to recommend for a wide range of ages.

Good for: All ages, rainy days, hot afternoons, aviation-loving kids, visiting family

Location: 1942 Heritage Blvd., Robins AFB

Rigby’s Entertainment Complex

If your family has completely different ideas about what sounds fun, Rigby’s gives you plenty of options in one place. The entertainment complex includes bowling, roller skating, laser tag, go-karts, mini golf, arcade games, and more. It works especially well for mixed-age families or those days when everyone wants to do something different.

Good for: Mixed ages, older kids, teens, birthdays, indoor days

Location: 2001 Karl Drive, Warner Robins

Rigby’s Water World

Once Middle Georgia summer arrives, sometimes the only reasonable plan involves water. Rigby’s Water World is the seasonal outdoor side of the Rigby’s complex, with water slides, a lazy river, and areas for younger kids. This is more of a full outing than a quick splash-pad stop, so it is a good one to save for a day when you have a little more time.

Good for: Summer, water-loving kids, mixed ages, full-day outings

Location: 2001 Karl Drive, Warner Robins

Olympia Skate Center

Roller skating is still alive and well in Warner Robins. Olympia Skate Center offers public skating sessions, an arcade, birthday parties, and group events. It is a good option when your kids are old enough that another indoor playground is not going to cut it.

Good for: School-age kids, older kids, rainy days, birthdays

Location: 622 Greenbriar Road, Warner Robins

Xtreme Air Mega Park

Xtreme Air Mega Park is one of the newer indoor options in Warner Robins. The park includes trampolines, dodgeball, a three-story playground with slides, a ball pit, mini golf, and other active attractions. If the goal is to let the kids burn off some energy, this one definitely belongs on the list.

Good for: Active kids, school-age kids, mixed ages, rainy or hot days

Location: 705 Osigian Boulevard, Warner Robins

Indoor Things to Do in Warner Robins With Kids

Georgia weather does not always cooperate with our plans. Summer afternoons can be brutally hot, thunderstorms show up whenever they feel like it, and eventually there comes a weekend when everyone has been in the house long enough. Thankfully, Warner Robins has a growing number of indoor options.

Monkey Joe’s

Monkey Joe’s is geared toward kids 12 and under, with inflatable play areas, a dedicated toddler space, arcade games, and concessions. This falls squarely into the run-around-until-they-are-tired category of family entertainment, which sometimes is exactly what you need.

Good for: Toddlers, younger kids, active play, rainy days

Location: 4993 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins

Sky Zone Warner Robins

Sky Zone gives active kids plenty of room to jump, climb, slide, and move. The Warner Robins location has several attractions beyond standard trampoline courts, including a warrior course, Air Court, slides, and other activity areas.

Good for: Active kids, school-age kids, birthdays, rainy days

Location: 815 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins

Big Air Warner Robins

Despite the Warner Robins name, Big Air is technically in Centerville on Watson Boulevard. It is another indoor adventure option with trampoline courts, ninja-style courses, climbing activities, and areas for younger kids. It is close enough that it belongs on a Warner Robins family list.

Good for: Active kids, mixed ages, indoor play, birthdays

Location: 2930 Watson Blvd., Centerville

Disconnect Gaming Lounge

Not every family activity needs to revolve around little kids. Disconnect Gaming Lounge offers console gaming, esports-style events, tabletop games, arcade classics, and social game nights. It gives families with older kids and teens another indoor option when playgrounds and bounce houses are not really their thing anymore.

Good for: Older kids, teens, gamers, rainy days

Location: 2276 Moody Road, Warner Robins

Drop ‘N Play Kids

Drop ‘N Play Kids in nearby Bonaire is a boutique indoor play space with supervised drop-off play for children ages 3 to 9 and options for younger children with a caregiver staying nearby. This one is a little different from a typical indoor playground because parents can use the supervised play option when they need time to run errands or handle an appointment.

Good for: Younger kids, supervised play, parents needing a few hours, rainy days

Location: 719 SR 96, Suite 700, Bonaire

Also worth keeping on your radar are Giggle Town, Hyperdeck, and Smashsonian Rage Room. I am putting together a separate Indoor Things to Do in Warner Robins With Kids guide so I can go deeper on options for toddlers, school-age kids, older kids, and teens without turning this page into one giant indoor-activity list.

Free Things to Do With Kids in Warner Robins

Family outings can get expensive quickly, especially when you are paying admission for several people. The good news is that some of the best things to do around Warner Robins do not require buying a ticket at all.

The Museum of Aviation deserves another mention here because general admission and parking are free. For outdoor time, Warner Robins Parks and Recreation maintains a long list of city parks, including Ted Wright Park, Fountain Park, Peavy Park, Tanner Park, Wellston Park, The Walk at Sandy Run, Walkers Pond, and others.

Ted Wright Park

Ted Wright Park is one of the better options when you want to let the kids play and stay awhile. The park has a playground, seasonal splash pad, walking path around a large green space, picnic pavilions, bathrooms, and pickleball courts. Pack snacks or lunch and it can easily become a low-key afternoon without much planning.

Good for: Playground days, splash-pad weather, picnics, walking

Location: 2841 Moody Road, Bonaire

Warner Robins Parks & Recreation

The city currently lists 15 parks, so Ted Wright is far from the only free outdoor option. If you are trying to find a park close to home or want to try somewhere different, the city’s park directory is the best place to check the current list and amenities.

Good for: Free outdoor days, playground hopping, walking, picnics

Location: Warner Robins

I am also building a separate Free Things to Do in Warner Robins With Kids guide for families who want more ideas that do not turn a Saturday afternoon into a $100 outing.

Parks and Playgrounds in Warner Robins

Sometimes you do not need tickets, reservations, or a whole plan. You just need somewhere the kids can play.

In addition to Ted Wright Park, the Warner Robins park system includes Fountain Park, Memorial Park, Peavy Park, Tanner Park, Wellston Park, Walkers Pond, Tot Lot Park, The Walk at Sandy Run, and several neighborhood parks. Some are better for playground time, some give you room to walk, and others work well when you want to pack lunch and stay awhile.

I am putting together a full Parks and Playgrounds in Warner Robins guide that will make it easier to choose based on what you actually need that day, whether that is a splash pad, playground, walking trail, picnic area, or simply somewhere to burn off some energy.

Something Different: Cooking Classes for Kids

Young Chefs Academy Warner Robins

For kids who would rather make something than climb something, Young Chefs Academy offers hands-on cooking classes, camps, parties, and family workshops. It is a nice change from the usual arcade or trampoline-park outing, especially for kids who already enjoy helping in the kitchen.

Good for: Kids who love cooking, classes, camps, birthdays, family workshops

Location: Warner Robins

Seasonal Things to Do in Warner Robins

Some of the best local activities are not available year-round. Summer brings splash pads and water parks, while fall and the holidays usually bring a completely different calendar of community events.

Rather than listing dates here that will be outdated next year, I recommend checking the current Warner Robins Parks & Recreation calendar when you are looking for something happening that weekend.

Things to Do Near Warner Robins

You do not have to stay inside the Warner Robins city limits either. Centerville, Bonaire, and Perry are close enough that most local families do not think twice about crossing city lines for something to do.

Big Air in Centerville and Drop ‘N Play Kids in Bonaire are two examples already included above. Perry has its own growing list of activities and seasonal events, and Macon opens up even more options with museums, parks, trails, downtown activities, and family events.

I am also working on a Best Day Trips From Warner Robins With Kids guide for the days when you have already done your usual local favorites and want to go somewhere different.

There Is More to Do Around Warner Robins Than You Might Think

Warner Robins has changed quite a bit since I first wrote this guide in 2022, and there are a lot more options for families now. Between new indoor attractions, longtime local favorites, parks, free activities, and everything happening throughout Houston County, there is usually somewhere to go when everyone needs out of the house.

I will keep updating this guide as places open, close, and change because that is what makes a local guide actually useful.
