In addition to learning to ride using an English saddle or perfecting your seat in a bareback lesson, you can also learn to steer using only your legs. Above all, horseback riding lessons are a great activity. They are sure to be a physical and mental workout for both children and adults.
Private Horseback Riding Lessons Macon GA
Private lessons are $60 each ($50 with a monthly subscription), semi-private lessons are $60 each, and group lessons are $60 per rider. Be sure to wear long jeans or pants, boots with a heel, and a riding helmet to each class.

Located just north of Macon in Bolingbroke, GA, the rolling acres of Morgan View Farm brings the wonder of horses to life with many different breeds and colors of horses.

With over 40 years of experience, they offer a variety of services such as riding lessons, horse camps, and horse sales. The highly passionate and experienced staff offers classes year-round and caters to riders of all levels, with private and group classes available. The farm provides a safe and supportive environment where riders can build confidence, learn new skills and have a great time.
Mini camps, summer camps, and day camps are available at Morgan View Farm throughout the year. Camps include riding lessons, craft projects, horsemanship lessons, and more! No prior riding experience is needed to attend these camps designed for children ages 5-12. All skill levels are welcome to join in the fun!

Roosevelt Stables At FDR State Park
At Roosevelt Stables at FDR State Park, the staff believes outdoor activities, especially horseback riding, benefit everyone’s physical and mental health. From guided rides to overnight adventures, there’s something at Roosevelt Stables for horse lovers of all ages and skill levels.
Roosevelt Stables offers three guided trail rides: Creek Trail ($45), Mountain Overlook Trail ($110), and Cowboy Trail ($185). The Creek Trail is the shortest ride, perfect for families with young kids, and is only about an hour long. The Mountain Overlook Trail and Cowboy Trail are longer, scenic rides that take about 2-4 hours to complete.
Day rides (for ages six and up), camping, and stall rentals are available at this property. In addition, guests can even embark on a primitive overnight ride on the Cowboy Trail! Groups of 4 or more can enjoy horseback riding, campfire cooking, cowboy songs, and tent camping under the stars.
