Pregnancy is beautiful, but it isn’t always easy. Maybe you’re tired, swollen, or just not feeling like yourself. While some moms can’t wait to document this chapter, others wonder: What if I don’t feel beautiful? What if I look awkward? Should I even do maternity photos if I don’t feel like the glowing moms I see online?
This guide is for you. My goal is to help you see that maternity photos in Middle Georgia aren’t about looking perfect — they’re about connection, honesty, and celebrating this fleeting season in a way that feels true to you.

Your body is changing quickly. You may feel tired, swollen, or simply not like yourself. That doesn’t mean you don’t deserve photos. In fact, it’s often the mamas who feel the least “ready” who are the most grateful later for having images to look back on.
Most maternity sessions happen between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is visible but you’re still comfortable. That said, there’s no single “right” time — we’ll choose a date that works best for your body and your schedule. Middle Georgia’s mild springs and golden fall evenings are especially beautiful backdrops for these sessions.
One of the biggest fears mamas share is, “I don’t know what to do in front of the camera.” That’s where I step in. I’ll gently guide you with simple prompts and flattering angles so you never feel stiff or unsure. Most of the time, you’ll just be walking, sitting, or snuggling with your partner — movements that already feel natural to you.

You don’t need to wear a flowy gown to look beautiful in your photos. If dresses aren’t your thing, here are some alternatives:
The key is comfort. If you feel good in what you’re wearing, that confidence will come through in your photos.
These photos are about slowing down and being present, not performing. Here’s how I make that happen:
If choosing outfits feels overwhelming, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Every maternity session includes:
This way, you don’t have to stand in front of your closet wondering what will look good in photos.
Whether you’d like the comfort of your own home, a quiet studio rental, the glow of a Middle Georgia field, or the small-town charm of downtown, we’ll choose a location that feels like the right backdrop for your story.

That’s normal — almost everyone does at first. I’ll guide you with gentle direction and keep things natural so it feels more like time spent together than stiff posing.
Not at all. Whether you love a full glam look or prefer minimal effort, what matters most is that you feel comfortable.
Pregnancy is unpredictable. If you need to rest or reschedule, we’ll adjust. Your comfort always comes first.
Yes! Including your family often takes the pressure off you and brings out more natural moments.

These images are about remembering how this season looked and felt — the anticipation, the quiet moments, the little ways you’re already loving your baby.
